Hold Fitting body steady, tighten the nut 1-1\/4 turn from finger tight for fitting size in fraction 1\/4″ to 1″, in metric 6mm to 25mm and 3\/4″ turn from finger tight for fitting size in fraction 1\/16″ to 3\/16″, in metric 2mm to 4mm.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Insert the tube assembly into the fitting body until the front ferrules seats firmly. Assemble the tube and nut to finger tight position.\u00a0<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Rotate the nut until the previously marked position is reached. The appropriate selection of both tubing and its material is crucial. Tubing should always be free from pattern marks, scratches, and other surface imperfections. It’s important to avoid negative tolerance in the tubing. Additionally, the end of the tube must be free from any burrs resulting from pipe cutters or hacksaws<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

However Comfit always suggests swaging to be performed by attaining whole 1-1\/4 turn of the nut for tube size 1\/4″ to 1″ and 6mm to 25mm where as 3\/4 turn of nut for tube size 1\/16″ to 3\/16″ and 2mm to 4mm irrespective of the tube thickness and hardness<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
